A mother took to social media to express her shock and dismay after discovering that her child’s new school shoes had been deliberately damaged within the first week of the new school term.
According to her post on Threads, her child had only worn the new school shoes for a week when they were found intentionally cut.
Only worn for a week
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday (Feb 21), when the child, after school, was preparing to attend Friday prayers at a mosque and noticed the damage.
Photos shared in the post show the child’s white school shoes visibly slashed with a sharp object, reinforcing suspicions of intentional damage.

I feel like crying seeing my child’s school shoes being cut by mischievous kids during Friday prayers at the mosque. They were only worn for a week.”
Netizens’ reaction
The post quickly gained traction online, sparking widespread discussion among netizens. Many expressed sympathy for the mother and child while strongly condemning the perpetrator’s actions.
“Poor child… If it were me, I would definitely find out who did this.”

“Why would they do such a thing? It seems like they were not taught the difference between right and wrong from a young age. The concept of sin and virtue probably doesn’t make sense to them.”

“This kid has the potential to become a gang leader in school or when they enter a hostel later. Their wickedness is to the point where they can’t distinguish between good and bad. All they think about is causing trouble for others. When they find out who did it, they should be given a lesson. Just counseling talks won’t work for bad kids like this.”
