There’s no shortage of odd items being sold online, but this one has truly left Malaysians speechless.
A Malaysian TikTok user recently caught the attention of netizens after she began selling dried leaves—yes, the kind that naturally fall off trees—for 80 sen per piece on a local online marketplace.

The video was uploaded by @kamairiyahabdullah and has since gone viral. In the short clip, she displays a piece of dried leaf while cheekily writing:
Need to burn rubbish but don’t have any dried leaves? Don’t worry. Just buy them online. Some people have already bought it!”
While many initially thought it was a joke, clicking the yellow shopping bag attached to the post reveals a very real product listing: RM0.80 for a pack of 10 dried leaves.
Even more shocking, 64 sets had already been sold as of today (May 23). The listing even features customer reviews—with some awarding it a full 5-star rating.
‘I should open my own yellow bag too’
Naturally, the bizarre product listing sent netizens into a frenzy. One user wrote:
“Seriously? People are selling dried leaves now… In that case, I should open my own yellow bag too.”

Another said they couldn’t believe 17 sets had already been sold, joking that they might just relocate to another planet.

One comment even mentioned how the user had joked with her husband just the day before about selling dried leaves—only to find someone had beaten her to it.
