A Malaysian rider has moved many online after openly sharing his regrets about taking his studies lightly back in school.
In his post, the young man said he spent the last five years hopping between delivery platforms before realising how different his life could have been if he had focused during his SPM days.
Almost 5 years doing this kind of work.
Back then, I didn’t want to study properly. During SPM I just slept.
No point regretting now. I chose this path myself.”
But instead of giving up, he has decided to rewrite his story.
The rider shared that he will be repeating SPM this month, calling it a second chance he hopes to make full use of.
“I hope I can use this second chance well. May things be eased for me.“
Please pray for me too, friends.”
“It’s never too late to start again,” netizens say
His honesty struck a chord with many.
Netizens flooded the comments with encouragement, reminding him that everyone moves through life at their own pace and that having the courage to start over is already something to be proud of.

Others also pointed out that being a rider is not an easy job either, and should never be looked down on.
Without riders, countless deliveries from food to essentials, would never reach our doors.
Your effort won’t betray you. Keep going.
Nothing to be ashamed of. You realised it early enough — and you’re doing something about it.”

The rider’s post has since become a quiet reminder that even when life doesn’t go as planned, there’s always room for a second chance, as long as you’re willing to take the first step.
