The Tanjung Malim Fire and Rescue Station was notified of the incident at 1.57am and deployed nine firefighters, one Fire Rescue Tender (FRT), and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit.

Assistant Director of Operations of the Perak Fire and Rescue Department Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said initial investigations found that Mohd Radzi was trapped inside the storeroom.

However, it’s not revealed how he got stuck inside in the first place.

“The storeroom door had been opened by UPSI Auxiliary Police before firefighters arrived, and the victim was confirmed dead at the scene by health officials.
