Sensing that something was wrong after a teacher failed to turn up for work in the morning, the deputy headmaster of a school in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, rushed over to her home to find out what had transpired.
To her shock, it later emerged that the teacher had died alone in her house, with the cause of death still under investigation.

According to China Press, the victim was identified as 55-year-old Huang Shuyun (transliteration), who taught at a primary school.
She failed to turn up for work this morning (June 23), prompting the deputy headmaster to head over to her home after multiple calls from the school went unanswered.

Upon reaching Huang’s home, the deputy headmaster saw that her car was still parked outside of the house. After trying to contact Huang several times without success, several firefighters were called to the scene.
After using special equipment to break into the house, firefighters found Huang’s body inside her room, where she had already passed away.
Had been in poor health
News of Huang’s death soon quickly spread, leaving students and teachers at the primary school where she taught deeply shocked and saddened.
The school later confirmed the news in a Facebook posting and expressed condolences over her demise.

In a separate report, China Press reported that Huang’s health wasn’t looking good, where she was previously treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
Meanwhile, Jempol District Police Chief, Superintendent Norhisham Mustapar said the case has been classified as sudden death (SDR) as initial investigations found no criminal elements involved.
Police are awaiting the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
