Crash landing caused by winds
According to FMT, the incident occurred in the Tanjung Bidara area during the Eagle Swift Free Fall parachute exercise series on Sunday (Feb 16).
The English news portal also reported that the corporal from the 18th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment was nearing the landing zone at Terendak Camp when he was taken off course due to a change in wind direction.

Checks by the airstrip landing zone’s recovery team later found that the woman was unhurt and left the scene before her details could be taken.
