A mother took to social media to vent her anger, alleging that her child was not only hit by a fellow classmate at school but was also violently punished by a teacher, who allegedly forced two students’ heads to collide.
The shocking claim quickly sparked heated debate online, with many urging her to lodge an official complaint with the school.
Child allegedly assaulted by teacher
According to a post on Thread, the incident occurred while the mother’s daughter was completing her schoolwork and chatting with a friend.
Suddenly, another student rushed up and slapped her on the head. Startled, the girl asked, “Why did you hit me?”
The commotion caught the teacher’s attention. The mother alleged that the teacher then put down their phone, walked over, and instead of resolving the situation calmly, struck both her daughter and the other student on the head, twisted their ears, and forcibly knocked their heads together.
She claimed her daughter burst into tears on the spot, while the other student was so terrified that he wet themselves.
Mother outraged at “violent punishment”
The mother said she initially wanted to reach out to the teacher for clarification, but her child begged her not to, fearing retaliation at school if the matter escalated.
Teachers used to punish by making students stand or by hitting their palms — those were considered discipline. But hitting the head and knocking heads together? That’s violence!” she wrote.
She added that her daughter still felt pain afterwards and had to continue preparing for her upcoming UPKK mock exam despite the incident.
