A heartbroken mother is begging for her teenage daughter to come back home after she left home since May 8.
Noorlaili Mahat held a press conference at her home in Melaka in hopes that her tearful pleas would reach the ears of 14-year-old Nor Alieya Maisarah and cause her to return to her family.

Daughter missing for 50 days
According to MalaysiaGazette, Maisarah was believed to have run away from her home in Taman Seri Telok Emas 50 days ago.
According to Noorlaili, her youngest daughter howed no signs of distress when she came home from school and appeared to be in good spirits.
After school, she hugged and kissed me and my husband and had lunch at home as usual until I left for work at 4pm.
“My second daughter later told me that Maisarah (whom we call her Adik) was no longer in the house and her phone has also been unreachable ever since,” she recounted.

Noorlaili added she immediately filed a police report on the same day and noticed Maisarah had taken her school bag and some clothing with her.
Waiting in tears
Ever since her daughter’s disappearance, Noorlaili has resorted to various methods in hopes of getting her child back home again.
“I’ve gone to see a bomoh (witch doctor), performed special prayers, and searched for her on my own around the area on my motorcycle. I’ve tried everything but there’s nothing.
“I also checked CCTV footage from her school and the surrounding area, but there’s still no trace of Maisarah,” she said tearfully.

Checks with the National Registration Department (JPN) also confirmed that Maisarah did not apply for a new identification card (IC).
Her disappearance has left her parents stumped, who said she didn’t socialise freely or had a boyfriend.
For now, all Noorlaili can do is to pray and wait for the day her daughter finally decides to return.
Please come home. Mama misses you so much and I’m sorry if I ever hurt your feelings or upset you in any way. And to whoever that took my daughter, please return her to us.

“Call me, no matter where you are. Please have mercy on Mama and Papa—we’ve been going out every day looking for you, and we don’t know where else to search.”
Anyone with information about Maisarah’s whereabouts is urged to contact Noorlaili at 014-3818326.
