A passenger recently shared a heartwarming experience after cabin crew members went the extra mile to help him break his fast while he was on a flight from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur.
In a Threads post, the passenger recounted how a thoughtful gesture from one of the flight attendants made his journey especially memorable during the Ramadan fasting month.
Cabin crew noticed he was fasting
According to the passenger, the incident happened on March 7 while he was travelling from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur.
During the flight, a cabin crew member approached him and asked whether he was fasting.
After he confirmed that he was observing the fast, the crew member told him that they would keep his meal aside as his time to break fast would arrive while the aircraft was still in the air.
Crew even checked with captain for exact timing
What stood out to the passenger was the extra effort the crew took to ensure he could break his fast at the correct time.
The flight attendant later checked with the captain to confirm the exact time for breaking fast while flying above the clouds.
At around 7.05pm, the crew member returned with his meal and informed him that the time to break fast during the flight would be at 7.20pm.
A simple but thoughtful gesture
Although it was a small act, the passenger said it meant a lot to him.

He also expressed his appreciation to the entire cabin crew for their kindness, warm smiles and thoughtful service throughout the flight.
The post has since touched many netizens, who praised the crew members for their attentiveness and for going the extra mile to accommodate a fasting passenger during Ramadan.
