In yet another tragic road accident, a man was seen suffering a painful death after he got knocked down and run over by a lorry in Klang.
The clip of the accident has since gone viral online and police are currently conducting their investigations.

In the 12-second footage which has been making rounds online, it showed the motorcyclist making a left turn into a road.
At the same time, a lorry was also seen making the same left turn, where it hit the back of the motorcycle, causing the man to stumble and fall onto the ground.

But before the man could recover from the fall and stand back up on his feet, the lorry’s left rear tyre is seen running over his head, which led to his demise.

Lorry driver remanded
North Klang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao said in a statement that the accident took place at Persiaran Rajawali – Jalan Angsa, Taman Berkeley on Saturday (May 24), reported Kosmo.
“Investigations found the lorry driver, a 54-year-old man, was coming from Persiaran Rajawali and turned left into Jalan Angsa before colliding with the rear of the victim’s motorcycle.

“The lorry driver, who could not avoid the collision, ran over the victim. As for the motorcyclist, he died at the scene and his body was sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said.
While the lorry driver tested negative for drugs, he was found to have two previous summonses under Regulation 10 LN 166/59 of the Road Traffic Rules and Section 79 (2) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
He has since been remanded for further investigation under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless driving.
