A Malaysian man has sparked heated reactions online after sharing a lengthy anonymous confession about his marriage, affair, and views on infidelity.
The post, which was submitted anonymously and published on the XUAN Facebook page, saw the man questioning whether cheating is always the man’s fault.
Claims he’s a “good husband” despite affair
In the confession, the man described himself as someone with a stable career, a family, and the ability to provide.

He claimed that even after starting an affair, he continued fulfilling his responsibilities at home by cooking, doing housework, and caring for his child.
According to him, he only goes out drinking after his wife and child have gone to sleep, insisting that his actions do not affect his role as a husband and father.
Says marriage was not based on love
The man revealed that his current marriage is his second, and that he only married his wife after she became pregnant.

He admitted that the decision was not based on love, but rather a “practical choice,” as she had supported him during his difficult years.
Over time, he said he began to feel superior after achieving financial success, which contributed to his dissatisfaction in the marriage.
Affair with influencer turns complicated
He also shared that he had been involved with a small-time influencer, describing her as someone who understood him and never pressured him to leave his marriage.
However, things escalated after his wife discovered the affair, leading to repeated arguments and discussions about divorce.

Despite initially suggesting separation, the man later changed his mind and claimed he could maintain both relationships without letting them interfere with each other.
Justified infidelity as “another form of love”
In the post, the man argued that an affair should also be considered a form of love, questioning why his wife could not be more accepting.
He even suggested that both women could coexist and support his life, stating that he believed he had treated both of them well.
He added that he could not control his feelings and felt unable to completely cut ties with his mistress.
The situation reportedly worsened when his wife attempted to expose his actions, including reporting his behaviour.
The man admitted that during an argument, he pushed his wife, claiming he wanted to “teach her a lesson.”
The confession ended with the man asking readers whether he was truly at fault, or if his wife was being unreasonable.
