A 33-year-old project manager from Selangor just became a multi-millionaire after winning a whopping RM14.6 million in the Toto 4D Jackpot.
And he owes it all to a set of digits from his girlfriend’s MyKad.
IC number = jackpot number?
Reported by FMT, STM Lottery Sdn Bhd shared that the man had been using the same set of numbers: 4, 8, 11, 18, 20 and 29.
He had been playing them for the past three years, ever since he met his girlfriend.
The numbers were a mix of his and her IC digits, which he believed had a special connection.
I always play Lotto games with this winning set of numbers and would usually buy eight draws in advance.” he shared.
He explained that the numbers were a combination of both his and his girlfriend’s IC digits, which made the win feel even more personal and meaningful.
Looks like Cupid really does come with cash sometimes.
Couldn’t sleep before cashing in
The lucky man said he was so overwhelmed that he couldn’t sleep the night before collecting his prize.
Despite now sitting on RM14.6 million, he’s kept the win under wraps and hasn’t told anyone about his windfall, not even his girlfriend.
When asked what he plans to do with the money, he said he would invest it wisely.
Love brought them together, luck brought the millions.
