A man from Johor Bahru had much to thank the deities for as he was named the winner of a massive Toto jackpot after he placed a bet on a set of numbers consisting of his identification card (IC) and numbers revealed to him by burning ‘lucky incense’.

China Press reported that the 49-year-old bank worker, who went to Toto’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur to collect his winnings, said he was a loyal supporter of the betting company.
He shared that during Wesak Day, he visited a temple to make offerings and pray. While there, he purchased a type of “lucky incense” that is said to reveal auspicious numbers when burned.
I had a sudden inspiration to combine those numbers with digits from my IC number, forming the winning 4D pair: 3866 and 5899. I placed bets on this combination for six consecutive draws, and to my surprise, it eventually won the jackpot.”
As a result, the man became a multi-millionaire overnight after walking away with RM10,382,079.25 in winnings.
Despite his huge win, the man said he has no plans to resign from his job and instead is looking to travel the world with his wife so that they could “create beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime memories together”.
