Dogs are known for their playful and loyal nature, but just like humans, they can sometimes get a little moody too.
Recently, a video of a Malaysian man attempting to win back a sulky dog’s affection captured the hearts of many online.
Shared by the owner on her TikTok account, @kaklongchannel, the clip instantly went viral.
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the owner revealed the touching story behind the moment.
The dog, affectionately named Moni, was once a stray who refused to leave the factory premises despite the other dogs moving away.
Seeing Moni’s loyalty, the boss decided to adopt her and bring her to Komtar.
Out of all the dogs, she was the only one who didn’t want to leave the factory. So, the boss decided to keep her and even had her neutered.”
Moni had long been allowed to roam freely without being kept in a cage. However, for an upcoming open house event, they needed to temporarily place her in one for safety reasons.
When it came time to coax Moni into the cage, she resisted fiercely and ran away, clearly upset by the idea. Despite the boss’s best efforts to persuade her, Moni refused to budge.
However, the man was finally seen carrying Moni gently into the cage after successfully calming her down.
