A man lost his cool and brandished a plastic chair at a car wash worker after he reportedly thought the latter had shown an obscene hand gesture at him.
The entire kerfuffle was caught on camera and subsequently shared online, with many condemning the man’s hot temper.

In the more than 1-minute long clip shared on Facebook, it showed a black Toyota Vellfire getting cleaned up at a car wash outlet.
After the job was done, one of the car wash workers handed the car key over to the man’s son, who got into the car and moved it forward slightly.
However, for some unknown reason, the man got angry and got into a verbal altercation with the attendant, who was left visibly confused by his outburst.
According to China Press, the worker had signaled to the man’s son that he could start moving the car forward, but the man had apparently interpreted it as an obscene hand gesture.
As the worker tried to proclaim his innocence, it only seemed to make the man angrier, who then knocked on the car window to tell his son to join him, with the latter hopping out from the car and shoving the worker while yelling, “What were you looking at just now?”
As tensions continued to increase, so did the man’s temper, leading him to pick up a plastic chair and swing it towards the worker. Thankfully, he was stopped in time by other workers trying to defuse the situation.
While the location of the altercation wasn’t mentioned in the video, netizens speculate it may have taken place at Ampang.

On social media, netizens condemned the man for losing his temper over something considered minor.

‘Picking a fight over a small matter will only cause others to think that you’re a person with no standards.’
Whether or not the worker had flashed the finger or not, we must never resort to violence to resolve it!
