It seems that slapping has become the latest “weapon” of choice for Malaysians to vent their displeasure when things don’t quite go their way.
Not long after the hoo-ha over the non-Muslim slapping incident last week, another similar incident has surfaced just yesterday (Mar 20), this time the victim being a security guard.
M’sian man slaps security guard over denied entry into apartment
In a Reddit post shared by a netizen, he posted a video of the confrontation which took place near his apartment.
The video begins with the security guard arguing with a visibly upset man dressed in a blue jubah and white kopiah at the security booth.

After several seconds of going back and forth, the man returned to the passenger seat and the driver’s door suddenly swung open, with another man dressed in a black t-shirt and pants emerging from the vehicle.
He then approached the security guard and slapped him right across the face with so much force that it sent his cap flying right off his head.

Although the security guard lunged forward to presumably confront the man, he thought better of it and backed off, instead grabbing his phone to make a call before the clip ended.
According to the caption, the altercation was triggered after the security guard refused to let the men in as they refused to give their contact numbers and names after they were found to not have a sticker proving they were residents of the apartment.
The OP later revealed in the comment section that the security guard had gone to the Klang police station to lodge a police report.

At the time of writing, the police have yet to release an official statement regarding the matter.
