Food deals always attract a crowd, but this one took things to another level.
A restaurant in Malaysia recently caused a frenzy after offering whole grilled chickens for just RM1 each.
In a mere 30 minutes, all 300 chickens were completely snapped up, leaving many customers disappointed.

Customers lined up as early as noon
According to Kosmo!, the restaurant owner, Mohamad Amri Mhd. Shukri, 29, shared that he never expected such an overwhelming response.
Some eager customers even arrived as early as 12 noon to secure their queue numbers, despite sales only starting at 4pm.
Mohamad Amri shared that they began promoting the sale on social media a week earlier, informing customers that queuing would start at 2pm
However, by 12 noon, people were already lining up. When we finally started distributing queue numbers at 2pm, they were all gone within just half an hour!” he said.
An effort to attract visitors to the Ramadan bazaar
Mohamad Amri revealed that the RM1 grilled chicken deal was part of a promotional effort to attract visitors to the Ramadan bazaar surrounding his restaurant.
The bazaar hosts 77 stalls, offering a variety of food and drinks during the fasting month.
While many lucky customers managed to grab their super cheap grilled chicken, others left empty-handed, hoping for another chance in the future.
