Finding true freedom.

Despite the attractive pay, he decided to quit after being diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) and suffering from panic attacks.

After leaving, he switched to gig work, mainly as a delivery rider. While he admitted that the income is unstable, he said he now feels much happier compared to his old job.

“I get to see my friends, spend time with my family, and play games whenever I want. I don’t have to answer my boss at 3am or fake a smile at 8am meetings with fussy clients,” he wrote.

‘Not perfect, but lighter’

Although his new lifestyle is far from perfect, he described it as “lighter” and more fulfilling.

I think I’m gonna be okay. I stopped taking my meds about a month ago, and for the first time in a while, I actually feel free,” he added.
