Sometimes fate doesn’t come with warnings.
And for this woman, it came in the form of a driverless car crashing into hers, leaving her with bills and bruised emotions.
A recent video shared by TikTok user @syiqin.nzri has gone viral after capturing a shocking parking lot incident that took place in a covered area of a building.
The CCTV footage shows a man pushing his stalled vehicle, reportedly suffering from a dead battery, in an attempt to get it started.
Pushed car slides out of control and hits parked Myvi
In the video, the man can be seen pushing the car downhill by himself, without any assistance.

What happened next took a disastrous turn: the car began to gain speed, completely out of control, and eventually slammed into a parked Myvi belonging to the woman.
There was no one inside the moving vehicle at the time of the crash, and the man was unable to get back into it in time to prevent the collision.

No insurance, no coverage, no compensation
To make things worse, the woman later revealed that the man’s vehicle was not covered by insurance, meaning she has to bear all repair costs out of her own pocket.

Understandably, many netizens expressed their frustration and sympathy in the comments, with some saying they couldn’t imagine the pain of seeing their well-kept car damaged through no fault of their own.
This is why insurance is so important. It’s not just about protecting yourself—it’s also about not burdening others,” one user wrote.
Owner stays calm, urges empathy

Despite the incident, the Myvi owner called for understanding instead of online hate.
In her post, she mentioned that while she was deeply affected, she didn’t agree with netizens who harshly criticised the man, noting that both of them were going through difficult situations, just in different ways.
It’ll take time to accept all this,” she wrote.
“But if I stay silent, nothing will ever be resolved.”
Netizens hope for accountability

While the woman’s calm response earned her respect, many netizens still hoped the man would step forward and take responsibility for the damage caused.
Some also saw the incident as a reminder of why insurance coverage is not just a legal requirement, but a social responsibility.
In the meantime, many are sending well wishes to the Myvi owner, hoping she finds peace and a fair resolution for the unexpected misfortune.
