As Raya draws near, Malaysians are going all out, squeezing in those last few ibadah, stocking up on kuih, and of course, racing to lock in their festive outfits.
For some, that means hitting up the Raya bazaars. For others, it’s all about adding-to-cart at lightning speed during midnight sales.
But while most are counting down the days till their parcels arrive, one man got a plot twist instead.
TikTok user Arep (@using99o) recently shared his hilarious Raya shopping fail, and honestly, it’s a whole mood.

Excited for the upcoming celebration, Arep ordered a black kurta online, hoping to look sharp for Raya. But when the parcel arrived… things took a rather fashionable detour.
“I got scammed,” he said, showing a photo of the item he ordered.
“I bought this. But this is what I got.”
What he received wasn’t a kurta, it was a full-on black baju kurung set. Yes, the traditional women’s outfit. Delivered. To. His. Doorstep.

And instead of flipping out, Arep did what any content king would do, he wore it.
In the video, he slipped into the baju kurung, posed with his hands on his hips, and even spun around like he was auditioning for a Raya ad. The energy? Top-tier. The commitment? 10/10.
And the cherry on top? It fit him perfectly. Not too loose, not too tight. Just right. Almost like the universe knew he’d be wearing it.
“Help me. I was supposed to wear this on the second day of Raya,” he said, clearly still trying to process the whole situation.
So if you’re stressing about your Raya fit, don’t. At least you didn’t accidentally end up in a baju kurung. Or if you did, hey… maybe you’ll pull it off like Arep did.
