M’sian Man Killed In JB Shooting Gets Grand Funeral With Over 100 Electronic Wreaths

A large-scale funeral was held for a man who was tragically shot while having lunch with friends at a restaurant in Johor Bahru.

A grand send-off

According to Sin Chew Daily, the victim’s family rented four air-conditioned halls, with over 100 electronic wreaths displayed in his honour.

Many of these wreaths carried the heartfelt message, “Rest in peace, Big Boss.”

Relatives and friends gathered in black attire to collect the body from Sultan Ismail Hospital. The scene was heavily guarded by police.

In a Facebook post, he was described as a “great hero in his generation”.

The shooting incident

The tragic incident occurred when the victim stepped away from his table to take a phone call. A masked man on a motorcycle fired four shots at him before fleeing within seconds.

Despite the presence of CCTV cameras, the shooter remains unidentified due to his disguise, which included a hoodie, sunglasses, and a face mask.
