Recently, a heartwarming moment between a deliveryman and a customer during a Raya open house has captured the attention of thousands online.
A viral TikTok video posted by @pijanbukan636 shows a delivery rider approaching a house with a parcel in hand.
What caught netizens’ attention was the tent set up outside—clearly indicating a Raya open house was underway.
In the next clip, the deliveryman can be seen comfortably enjoying a plate of Raya food, clearly having been invited to join the celebration.
“I was scared they’d ask me to eat!”
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP shared that he had initially hesitated to deliver the item, admitting:
I was kinda scared to send the item because there were a lot of people at the house. I just sat there thinking for a while, like, ‘Should I send it or not?’ I was scared they’d ask me to eat!”
Still, he decided to go ahead. To his surprise, the customer spotted him from afar and called out, “JAN!”, to which he instinctively replied “Ha!”—a moment he later found amusing.
‘Just whacked it lah!’
Though he hadn’t planned to stay long, the deliveryman admitted that his heart softened when the customer warmly invited him to join the feast.
Before he knew it, he was handed a plate of food.
The customer already invited me anyway, so I just whacked it lah!” he said cheekily.
The video has since gone viral, garnering over 100,000 views on TikTok.
