A 43-year-old motorcycle parts salesman who went off the grid after leaving home for work was found lifeless inside his car two days later.
According to China Press, the victim, identified as Li Zhiguang (transliteration) was found in front of a shop lot at Taman Molek, Bagan Ajam, Butterworth yesterday (Nov 24).

Last heard on Saturday
The Chinese daily reported that Li, who hails from Ipoh, left his home at 8am to pick up some items last Saturday (Nov 22).
However, he eventually lost contact with his family at 6pm, prompting his wife to lodge a missing persons report.
On Monday morning, Li was found slumped on the driver’ seat inside his Toyota car which was parked in front of the shop lot.

Ruled as sudden death
Police and medical personnel immediately rushed over upon receiving a report, but Li was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has since been launched and police have classified it as sudden death (SDR) for the time being.
Li’s body was later sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital mortuary for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

He is survived by his wife and daughter, and his funeral is expected to be held at the Mak Mandin Health Clinic in Butterworth.
