The woman claimed she was insulted despite moving her car right away.
A parking dispute involving a woman who allegedly double-parked by the roadside in Batu Pahat, Johor, has escalated into a heated confrontation, with videos of the incident circulating widely on social media.

The parties involved have since reached a settlement with police assistance.

Woman’s car allegedly blocked another vehicle

Based on CCTV footage shared on Facebook, the incident took place yesterday at a commercial area in Batu Pahat.

A BMW Mini was seen allegedly double-parked, preventing a Mercedes car from exiting its parking spot.

The Mercedes driver repeatedly honked, prompting the female BMW Mini driver to emerge from a nearby shop to move her vehicle.

The video shows a brief exchange between both parties, during which the Mercedes driver appeared to scold the woman for double parking.

The woman then moved her car, and the Mercedes driver drove away from the scene.

However, subsequent videos circulating on social media show the Mercedes driver being surrounded by several men at another location.

A man in a purple shirt was seen confronting him, questioning why he spoke harshly to a woman and asking, “Do you know who am I?”

Others nearby were heard asking the Mercedes driver in Malay to apologise to their “boss”.

Another video showed the Mercedes driver apologising to a woman dressed in black. At one point, his head was roughly shoved by one of the men.

‘I already apologised!’

In the clip, the woman explained that she had already apologised and was preparing to move her car, but became frightened when the Mercedes driver raised his voice, leading her to worry about her safety.

The Mercedes driver, on the other hand, stated that he did not hear her initial apology clearly and repeatedly expressed willingness to take responsibility for the misunderstanding, while continuing to apologise.

According to China Press, Batu Pahat district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrul Anuar confirmed today that all individuals involved went to the Batu Pahat police station yesterday afternoon for mediation.

“Both parties have reached a settlement and will not pursue further action over the matter,” he said.
