Living under the same roof can sometimes lead to conflict but in this case, a minor household disagreement turned deadly.
A Malaysian man was fatally stabbed by his friend following a heated argument over a messy room at a house in Kampung Kubu Gajah, Sungai Pelong, on Wednesday (June 25).

Reported by Sinar Harian, Sungai Buloh District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor, both men had arrived from Kelantan and had been staying together for about six months before the incident took place.
Preliminary police investigations revealed that the two were involved in a dispute regarding household matters, specifically concerning the untidiness of one of the rooms,”
Stabbed during the fight
The quarrel eventually escalated into a physical altercation, during which the 33-year-old victim was stabbed with a knife by his 40-year-old friend, resulting in his death.
Authorities were alerted to the incident after the Sungai Buloh District Police Headquarters received a MERS999 emergency call at 11.26pm on the night of the incident.
Suspect tested positive for drugs
Further checks revealed that the suspect tested positive for drugs following a urine test.
The man has since been remanded for six days until 1 July to assist with investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
