The body of a local man who fell from the Penang Bridge has been found after two days of searching by rescuers.
It was previously reported that the incident took place at Kilometer 2.8 of the Penang Bridge heading towards Seberang Perai from the island on Sunday (Nov 16).
The man had also left behind a plastic bag containing clothes, a mobile phone, and his Yamaha Y16 motorcycle by the bridge barrier before vanishing.

Wife accepts husband’s passing
MalaysiaGazette reported that the man, later identified as 25-year-old Elmi Nur Zamani Aizat Abdul Azim, was found dead by rescuers at around 9.50am today.
When contacted by the news portal, his wife, Nurul Natasha Amyra Ishak, said his body was sent to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem.
She added that she has come to terms with her husband’s passing.

“My heart just misses you and I accept it. But if you’re really gone, please let your body appear,” she wrote in post on TikTok.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the couple recently welcomed their second child in February of this year and that Nurul Natasha is currently five months pregnant with another child.
However, she doesn’t know the reason for her husband’s falling to the sea from the Penang Bridge.
