At 2pm on Sunday, he arrived at the hotel and booked a room, with his girlfriend turning up an hour later.
During their conversation, the manโs girlfriend told him that her parents didnโt want her to continue pursuing a relationship with him and suggested that they break up.
Upon hearing this, the man became emotionally distressed and took out a small knife while threatening to end his own life if she insisted on breaking up.

Despite his girlfriendโs attempts to stop him, the man proceeded to cut his own throat in front of her. She then fled from the room in a panic and called for help from the hotel staff.
