A video showing a man taking an upskirt video of a woman at a condominium in Johor has recently gone viral, sparking outrage online.
Fortunately, everything came to a fitting end as the man was eventually dismissed from his job shortly after his employers caught wind of his deplorable act.
M’sian man caught taking upskirt video of woman
According to CCTV footage which has been making rounds on Facebook, it showed the man clad in a white t-shirt walking up towards a woman from behind, who was unaware of his presence.

As the woman began to unlock the grill door to her house, the man quietly slips his left hand underneath her skirt while gripping onto his handphone.
Just when his fingers had barely brushed the hem of the woman’s skirt to get a “better” view, he was stopped by a man who shouted “Hello! Are you okay?” at him.
This startled him and caused him to slip his handphone into his pocket and act casual as though nothing had happened.

Up until this point, the woman still had no idea that she nearly became a victim of voyeurism and went into her home.
Gets fired from his job
Unsurprisingly, netizens were angered by the man’s deed and worked to expose his identity, which eventually led to his employers learning of what he did.
As such, the company that the man worked for released a statement announcing that he had been fired effective yesterday (Oct 22) “due to serious violations of company policies and relevant laws”.

The man’s wife also penned her own thoughts on the scandal, writing that she was heartbroken by his actions.
She also added that this wasn’t the first time he had done something similar and said she hopes to divorce him soon.
For the man’s part, Kwong Wah Daily reported that he had lodged a police report out of concern for his own safety after the incident went viral.
In the police report, he admitted to taking the upskirt video but said he has since deleted it.

To all the ladies, please be more careful and aware of your surroundings, especially when you’re alone!
