What seemed to be a case of a man getting caught taking an upskirt video at a mall in Ipoh turned into something more sinister.
This comes after the victim uncovered that the man had not one, but a trove of upskirt videos in his handphone and when confronted, gave a rather weak excuse for his behaviour.

In a Facebook post shared by Krystal Yau, she wrote her younger sister was out shopping when she saw the man allegedly pulling his handphone back from under her skirt.
The boyfriend of Krystal’s sister then confronted the man and asked whether he was secretly filming, an accusation he initially denied.
However, the boyfriend sensed something was amiss and demanded the man unlock his phone. When he did, it was revealed that he had several upskirt clips and photos of women’s chests.
‘I couldn’t control myself’
A clip in the post showed the man being watched by a security guard and explaining the reason for his despicable actions as Krystal’s sister waited for the authorities to arrive
According to Krystal, the man claimed to be suffering from an illness that stopped him from having self-control when it came to taking upskirt videos.
Oriental Daily later reported that the man was arrested and will be remanded until today, which was confirmed by Ipoh District Police Chief, Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad.
