A disturbing CCTV video showing a man climbing a neighbour’s gate in broad daylight while a teenage girl was alone at home has gone viral, sparking concern over residential safety even during daytime.
The incident was revealed by TikTok user @woffiepippa, also known as Freda, who wrote that her opposite-house neighbour had climbed onto her porch on Thursday (Nov 13), while her younger sister was alone in the living room.

Traumatising experience
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Freda said the man entered their porch around 5.20pm and lingered there for 10 to 15 minutes while her sister was inside.
In her caption, she warned others about the danger of complacency.

She added that the family has lodged a police report and hoped authorities would take appropriate action.

Neighbour allegedly troubled the area for years
Freda shared that the man has been living in the neighbourhood for around 20 years and is well-known among residents for his history of causing disturbances.
He has always been a trouble to the neighbourhood. Police would visit his house off and on. We’re all very careful with him.”
As it is difficult to communicate with the man, Freda and her family decided not to confront him or initiate any conversation about the incident.
Family strengthens home security
As of now, Freda shared that her sister, who is sitting for SPM this year, is still deeply affected.
She’s traumatised. We hope she can overcome this and focus on her SPM preparation.”
She added that her family is enhancing home security following the scare.
We’ll keep the CCTV for evidence. We’re planning to install alarms and add grills high up where there’s no chance to climb in.”
Netizens warn he may return
In the TikTok comments section, many netizens urged the family to take further action if police fail to respond adequately, suggesting civil suits or restraining orders.
Some noted that the man’s behaviour looked like he was “testing the house” and cautioned that he may attempt to return.
