A Malaysian man has gone viral after posting a blunt, no-holds-barred review of his former workplace on social media, saying he would “never work here again as an IT” and listing out everything that made his time there unbearable.
The post, which was accompanied by a photo of the office exterior, quickly caught attention for its raw language and unapologetic tone.
‘No life, no privacy, no peace’
In his post, the man alleged that employees were overworked and treated like “NPCs,” a term commonly used online to describe people who are expected to function without autonomy or rest, claiming there was no work-life balance to speak of.

He also complained about strict rules, saying staff were not allowed to use their phones even when they were free.
According to him, the office environment was equally discouraging. He described the workspace as cheap and uncomfortable, with poor furniture and little to no privacy.
One of the points that shocked many readers was his claim that around 15 employees had to share a single bathroom.
Manager accused of vaping and using vulgar language
The man also took aim at management, accusing a manager of using curse words while working and vaping in the office.
He claimed that staff had to endure second-hand vape smoke during working hours, which added to what he described as an already stressful environment.
Despite the long list of complaints, he noted that some colleagues were friendly, except for those who “talk big and earn a lil money.”
‘Gen Z Glassdoor’
The post sparked a wave of reactions from netizens, many of whom were amused by the brutal honesty and praised the courage to speak up.
‘Lame a** manager, hahaha. Please tell me you’re Gen Z because only they have the balls to post this,’ one commenter joked.
Others pointed out how social media platforms are slowly replacing anonymous review sites.
Another added, ‘Who needs Glassdoor if we have reviews like this?‘
Others offered broader advice, warning jobseekers to be cautious about IT roles in small shoplot-style offices.
Many praised the post for being direct and unfiltered.
‘I love this kind of review. Straightforward and genuine. No need to sugarcoat and say salary not on par, HR not caring, etc. Just spill everything about the company,’ one netizen wrote.
