A Malaysian influencer has once again found himself in hot water after claiming that men who do housework are “gay,” “stupid,” and “losers,” sparking a wave of criticism from netizens.
‘Kings don’t clean their own palace’
The influencer, who is no stranger to controversial remarks, posted on Threads arguing that men should focus on earning money instead of doing household chores.
Men who do housework are weak. Bro, you’re a man, you’re supposed to be the leader of the house, why are you doing chores? Have you ever seen a king clean his own palace?” he wrote.
He went on to say that if a king spent his time sweeping floors, he would have no time to handle “more important national affairs.”

“You are a husband. Your responsibility is to make money, to conquer the world,” he argued.
The influencer further claimed that a husband’s role is to be “the best, the strongest, the most respected man,” adding that wives who respect their husbands would never let them do housework.
“To be the best man, you must be the strongest, the richest, and command the highest respect — not clean up your kids’ poop.

“If you’re doing housework, you’re actually lazy. Instead of conquering the world, you choose to sweep floors, wash dishes, and pick up after your kids.
“Or maybe you’re just afraid of your wife. If you can’t even provide properly, of course she won’t respect you. You’re just a ‘looser,’” he wrote, misspelling “loser.”
Netizens clap back
His remarks quickly went viral, drawing widespread backlash from netizens who accused him of belittling responsible husbands.
‘He can’t even spell ‘loser’ correctly, and he wants to lecture others?’

‘Try getting married first. Then you’ll know who the real king of the house is.’

Some husbands also proudly shared their own routines:
‘ just finished sweeping the floor, washing dishes, folding clothes, and taking out the trash. So am I suddenly ‘gay’? My wife works harder than me, taking care of the kids day and night. I believe couples should share household responsibilities.’
