A Malaysian motorist was left outraged after discovering that his photo had been publicly displayed at a gas station due to a failed card payment—an issue he was completely unaware of at the time.
The driver took to Facebook to share his frustration, explaining that the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 19, at a gas station in Bandar Selesa Jaya.
Face gets displayed for not paying
He had refueled his car and paid using his credit card, believing the transaction had gone through successfully.
Since no error message or warning appeared, he left the station without any suspicion.
However, days later, he was shocked to find that the gas station had put up a screenshot from its CCTV footage, accusing him of failing to pay RM73 for the fuel.

‘I wouldn’t run away over RM73!’
Upon checking his bank records, he realized that the payment had not been processed due to what he believed was a system error.
Do you think I would run away over RM73 worth of fuel? Your card system had issues, and now you put up my picture!” Expressing his frustration, he wrote.
Following the backlash, the gas station has since removed the posted image of the motorist.
