A fresh graduate has sparked debate online after admitting that he feels stressed not because of financial struggles, but because he cannot finish spending his monthly salary.
The anonymous confession was shared on X by user @meinmokhtar, where it quickly drew strong reactions from netizens.
Has more money than he knows what to do with
In the post, the fresh grad shared that he earns RM7,000 a month and has very few financial commitments.
According to him, his parents cover major expenses such as his car and housing, leaving him with only daily spending like food.

He also mentioned that he occasionally treats his friends and even pays for two gym memberships at the same time, one with Anytime Fitness and another with Fitness First.
Despite this, he said he still has a lot of money left over every month.
I’m also getting stressed like this,” he wrote.
Netizens say others have it much harder
The confession did not sit well with many, who pointed out that most people struggle with the opposite problem.
Some said that worrying about having too much money was out of touch, especially when others are trying to make ends meet.

Others took a more practical approach and offered suggestions on what he could do with his extra income.
Several encouraged him to start saving, noting that many people with lower salaries are still trying their best to put money aside.

Another suggested contributing to meaningful causes, such as donating to animal shelters or buying supplies for smaller hospitals.

Some, however, took a lighter tone and told him to simply enjoy the money while he can.

While the post may come across as tone deaf to some, it also highlights how different financial situations can shape people’s perspectives on money.
