Midnight mayhem
According to Kosmo!, Cheras District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan, the altercation started around midnight when a train travelling from Bukit Jalil to Sentul Timur arrived at the station.

“A group of football supporters exited the train, and an argument broke out with another group, escalating into a fight,” he said.
Things got out of hand as 20 to 30 individuals began throwing trash bins and elevator door barriers at the train, causing damage to its glass doors.
Train delay and quick action
The unruly behaviour forced the train to stop for approximately eight minutes. Fortunately, police personnel, including auxiliary officers, intervened to break up the fight and safely escorted the supporters out of the station.
“The situation was brought under control once the train doors closed, and the train left the scene,” Aidil added.
Investigation ongoing
No arrests have been made yet, but the case is being investigated under Sections 147 and 427 of the Penal Code for rioting and causing property damage.
“We urge those involved to step forward and assist in the investigation,” Aidil said.
The video’s widespread circulation on Facebook and X has sparked a wave of anger among netizens, with many condemning the reckless actions that disrupted public transport services.
