When firefighters train for emergencies, they expect the usual. Putting out fires, rescuing people, maybe the occasional cat in a tree.
What they probably don’t anticipate is having to rescue a kitten that got its head stuck in a metal hole and looked completely unfazed by it.
In a TikTok video by @myrulethan that quickly went viral, a tiny orange kitten was seen with its head poking through a metal ring, stuck.

You’d think it would be panicking or trying to wriggle free. But instead, it just sat there with the blank, mildly bored expression of someone waiting for a bus that’s already 20 minutes late.

Instead of making a fuss, the kitten calmly sat through the whole ordeal as several firemen tried to figure out how to get it out.
Eventually, one of them used pliers to carefully snip away the metal. The kitten didn’t resist. It also didn’t assist. It simply let the humans do the work.
Even after being freed, the cat still looked like it had everything under control. The metal ring hung around its neck like a fashion choice, and the energy was very much “I meant to do that.”

Naturally, netizens had things to say. Many pointed out that this was classic orange cat behaviour. Get into a mess, offer no explanation, and somehow still walk away looking confident.

So while pets might not throw tantrums like kids, they do manage to create problems with the same level of dramatic flair. Just with fewer words and more judgmental stares.
