While firefighters are usually called to put out fires and rescue those caught in the inferno, they are sometimes also called to save furry creatures who find themselves in sticky situations too.
A firefighter recently shared a video of him answering the call of duty by saving a poor kitten that somehow got itself stuck in a traffic cone, where the cute rescue operation tickled the hearts of netizens.

In the 27-second TikTok video shared by @norikwan69, it begins with the kitten having its head sticking out from the hole on top of the traffic cone while mewing away helplessly — a clear sign that it needed help.
Not wanting to see the kitten remain in its helpless state, the OP proceeded to gently push its face back into the traffic cone in order to set it free.
All throughout the rescue operation, the kitten did its best to endure the uncomfortable shoving, even letting out a few mewls in protest.
Thankfully, the method proved to be effective when the kitten’s head was finally free from the hole and it slid out from the bottom of the traffic cone.

The clip has since garnered over 350,000 views at the time of writing and hundreds of comments from netizens who couldn’t help but laugh over the unusual rescue operation.
