The Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) has paid a moving tribute to Hong Kong firefighter Ho Wai-ho, who died on Nov 26 while battling the deadly Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po.
In a Facebook post that has drawn thousands of reactions, JBPM honoured Ho as a “fallen brother” and praised his extraordinary bravery during one of Hong Kong’s deadliest residential fires.

In the post, JBPM highlighted Ho’s sacrifice as the highest form of duty:
His loss serves as a reminder of the great risks faced by rescue personnel every day to ensure the safety of the public.”
They commended Ho’s dedication, calling his actions a symbol of the courage, commitment and selflessness shared by firefighters around the world.
The tribute image, titled Remember Fallen Brothers, features Ho’s portrait with the message:
