What was supposed to be a joyous Hari Raya celebration turned into a scary ordeal when the floor of a house in Kuching suddenly collapsed, injuring four guests in the process.
According to Oriental Daily, the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department stated that the incident happened around 11 a.m. today (Mar 31) at a house located in Kampung Gobielt, Kuching.

They received an emergency call at 11.10 a.m. and quickly dispatched a team from the Tabuan Jaya fire station to the scene.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the floor of the living room had given way due to a collapsed support pillar beneath it.

Before the firefighters arrived, two men and two women who sustained injuries had already been rushed to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the other six people in the house were unharmed.
After inspecting the structure, the rescue team confirmed that the house is still safe to live in despite the incident.
