A series of clips showing a man who bore an uncanny resemblance to former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan has recently gone viral on Twitter.
The videos were uploaded by a user named @makcikbawangmu yesterday, which have garnered 6.2 million views and more than 7,300 retweets at the time of writing.
Ex-IGP allegedly argues with wife
In the videos, it showed a white-haired man having a heated argument with a woman over financial and property-related issues.
Tensions further escalate when the woman brings up the topic of shares in a business as the man fixes a school belt believed to belong to a child dressed in a yellow t-shirt.
As the argument continued, the woman then challenged the man to marry a Chinese woman if he was upset.
You are jealous (and) scared that other people will get me? You also can marry that Chinese (woman)!
This then causes the man to attempt to snatch her handphone away, which he managed to do so.
In another video, the woman is heard screaming at the man to return her phone. In the midst of the chaos, the child is seen hitting the man’s head with a book.
The young boy was also seen trying to grab the phone away from the man’s hand in another clip.

Was it the ex-IGP or not?
According to Harian Metro, it reported that a former senior police officer had allegedly assaulted his second wife but it did not name the person.
A police report was filed by the second wife at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) police station, who claimed that the incident took place on Feb 28 at 8pm.
She also claimed that she was hit on the head and back of the neck.
In an unexpected twist, the Malay daily reported that the cop lodged a report of his own at 3pm the next day, claiming that he was hit with a helmet. However, it’s not known whether both reports were related to the clips.
Malaysia Gazette later revealed that the cop was actually Musa Hassan himself, who had visited his wife Elly Efizahwati Abdul Jalil to give RM5,000 for expenses, including money for his son’s school books.
Elly reportedly became irate after she received a letter from a syariah lawyer and began recording Musa.
The situation eventually escalated when Musa tried to confiscate the phone, where Elly allegedly took a stick and hit him until he fell to the ground.
He later sought medical treatment the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.
‘Give us privacy’
In light of the reports, Musa has requested Malaysians to stop speculating on the issue as it was a family matter.
This is a matter of family privacy. Do not get involved. Those who cause speculation will face legal action.
Ini adalah masalah privasi keluarga. Jangan ada yang masuk campur. Jika ada yang membuat spekulasi akan berhadapan dengan tindakan undang-undang.

For those who don’t know who the ex-IGP is, Musa served as IGP from 2006 to 2010 and was the investigating officer of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case in 1998.
He was also the one who accused Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh of attempting to ‘Christianise’ the country with her autobiography, which led to a defamation suit filed by Yeoh.
