What was meant to be a simple school reunion has reportedly taken a dramatic turn for several couples.
A school reunion that was supposed to be a chance for old friends to meet again has allegedly led to the end of several marriages after old flames were reignited.
One woman shared that this did not just happen to younger couples but also involved those who were already in their later years.
According to her, the story of elderly couples divorcing after the reunion was told by her father-in-law.
Divorce followed by remarriage
According to Mstar, she added that the couples who fell in love again eventually divorced their spouses before marrying each other.
Imagine, they are already in their 60s with children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and even grandchildren. I just cannot believe it,” she said.
Another marriage ended the same way
The woman also shared about a 15-year marriage that ended because of a school reunion.
She said the husband allowed his wife to attend the event where her former boyfriend was also present.
Both of them allegedly fell in love again after meeting at the reunion.
