If you thought Klang Valley traffic was already bad, some commuters say the past few days have pushed it to a whole new level.
Drivers have been venting online after daily commutes stretched far beyond the usual, with some journeys taking more than twice as long as expected.
One Threads user shared her ordeal, saying that a 25km drive from Petaling Jaya to Ampang took a painful 2 hours and 15 minutes.

On a normal day, the same journey would usually take around an hour. She added that the experience was so bad, she could not even imagine what traffic might look like the next day.
Her post quickly struck a chord with other Klang Valley residents, many of whom said the jams lately feel unusually heavy, especially during peak hours.
Some commuters pointed out that morning traffic between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya now feels more like festive season congestion, questioning why roads have become so packed all of a sudden.

Drivers in areas like Shah Alam also reported worsening congestion, with some wondering whether festive travel, roadworks, or something else entirely could be causing the sudden spike.
Several users said that while Klang Valley traffic is almost always bad, the last two to three days felt noticeably different, with cars crawling at a much slower pace and jams lasting far longer than usual.
One commuter even shared that her evening drive from Bangsar to Putrajaya stretched from around 5.15pm to 7.30pm, leaving her questioning whether traffic across the Klang Valley has become significantly worse compared to previous weeks.
With no clear explanation yet, many frustrated drivers are left guessing whether post holiday movement, ongoing roadworks, or sheer volume of vehicles is to blame.
