Parking has hit a pothole in Bukit Jalil, thanks to a recent incident that’s gone viral on TikTok.
M’sian driver parks at non-parking zone in Bukit Jalil
A video posted by @chiefhassan captures a driver parking right in the middle of a busy road near Pavilion Bukit Jalil, causing a traffic jam that left commuters idling for nearly 10 minutes.
The video shows a car making itself at home on a two-way street, creating gridlock in an already jam-packed area.
And this driver wasn’t alone in their parking faux pas—several other cars were parked illegally along the strip, turning the road into a bumper-to-bumper nightmare.
The incident quickly sparked a traffic jam of comments on TikTok. Many users were quick to express their road rage and offer suggestions for dealing with the issue.
“Should clamp the car,” one user suggested, flat out.
“So many parking spots, but he chose that place,” another pointed out, calling out the driver’s parking blunder.
“So many things wrong. Parked in the wrong place, plenty of space to pass, and the car could reverse to let others through. Kopi license, all of them,” another chimed in, referencing Malaysia’s notorious “coffee license” for drivers with questionable skills.
