A man in his 40s was killed in a horrifying machete attack at Kampung Kok Bedullah in Tumpat.
The incident happened at around 11.15pm, and the victim was confirmed dead at the scene after suffering multiple slash wounds.

Attacked at home by his own relative
Reported by Buletin TV3, Tumpat District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Khairi Shafie said the victim was at home when the suspect, who is believed to be a relative, suddenly showed up.
The victim was then attacked with a sharp weapon believed to be a machete.
Police said the victim was slashed repeatedly on the face and hands, and the brutal assault caused his left arm to be severed.
Suspect arrested, weapon seized
Police have since recovered a long machete believed to be the weapon used in the attack.
The suspect has been arrested and taken to the Pasir Mas Court for a remand application as investigations continue.
Motive believed to be revenge
Mohd Khairi urged the public not to speculate on the case while police work to determine the full motive, which is believed to be linked to revenge.
The investigation is ongoing.
