Receiving a parcel is always a joy — but who would’ve thought that delivering one could be just as cheerful too?
A video uploaded on TikTok has gone viral after capturing a delivery rider’s unexpected reaction to a loud CCTV alarm — and it wasn’t what anyone saw coming.
Vibing to the alarm
In the 15-second clip, the delivery man is seen walking along an apartment corridor looking for the right unit.
Just as he approaches one of the doors, the security alarm suddenly goes off.
Instead of running away or looking confused, the man stands his ground and breaks into an animated, exaggerated dance on the spot — complete with expressive movements and a playful vibe.
He even repeats the same routine a second time before casually turning around and walking off like nothing happened.
Delivery rider laughs it off
According to the netizen, she was startled by the alarm as well and later messaged the delivery rider to apologise for the scare.
But the rider wasn’t bothered at all. In fact, he laughed it off, saying:
I was a bit shocked at first, and then suddenly my body just started dancing!”
As fate would have it, the same abang returned the next day with another parcel. This time, the homeowner remembered to switch off the alarm.
The delivery man, clearly still in good spirits, completed the delivery and gave a thumbs-up to the CCTV camera before leaving.
