Tyre punctured on a busy KL road
According to her post, the incident happened at around 1pm when her car tyre was punctured by a nail while she was driving along Jalan Kinabalu, a busy stretch known for traffic congestion.
Seeing her stranded by the roadside, the GrabFood rider immediately pulled over to help.
Despite being in the middle of an order, the rider worked quickly and reassured her not to worry.

To avoid jam
What stood out to her was his genuine concern for other motorists.
It was a Jalan Kinabalu area where it’s only 2 lanes, he was genuinely concern about other drivers he said if not it’ll cause jam,” she wrote.
When she later tried to offer him a token of appreciation, he politely declined and hurried off to continue his food deliveries.
In her caption, the woman also appealed to anyone whose GrabFood order might have been delayed not to leave the rider a bad review, and instead encouraged them to help tip him instead.
She described the rider as “a true angel” who helped selflessly without expecting anything in return.
“Just a reminder to pay it forward”
Speaking to WeirdKaya, the woman explained that she shared the incident not for attention, but as a reminder of kindness.
Honestly, I shared because I think that’s what he wanted too, just to remind us to pay it forward,” she said.
Netizens flooded the comments with praise
The comments section quickly filled with praise, with many calling the rider a rare gem and saying acts like this restore their faith in humanity.

Some suggested reaching out to Grab to let the company know about the rider’s actions, saying they would surely be proud to have him.

Others shared similar experiences of delivery riders and drivers stopping without hesitation to help push broken-down cars or assist strangers, refusing payment and expecting nothing in return.
