A touching moment at a petrol station has melted the hearts of Malaysians online, and what started as a simple act of parenting soon revealed a much heavier truth behind one man’s quiet struggle.
Spotted changing diapers at petrol station
According to a post by Instagram page @jentikhatitv, a netizen named “dila dila” noticed a food delivery rider at a petrol station, pulling up at the air pump area with three young children in tow, one of whom was just a baby.

To her surprise, the man wasn’t there to refuel, but to change the kids’ diapers.
Moved by the scene, dila dila approached the man and offered him the backseat of the car so he could change the diapers more comfortably.
However, the man politely declined, saying he didn’t want to trouble anyone.
I just felt so sorry for him. “But I respected his space and simply wished them well. May God bless and protect them always,” the post writes.
Netizens uncover his real story
After the post went viral, netizens flooded the comment section with offers to help and words of encouragement. But it didn’t stop there.

Some netizens went a step further and revealed more about the man’s background after a controversial discussion about whether this is a potential scam in the comment section.
According to commenters, the delivery rider lives at the Desa Rejang PPR flats in Wangsa Maju and is often seen going out with his disabled wife and their children.

As if things couldn’t get more heartbreaking, it was also revealed that his wife lost one of her arms in a serious car accident, although, thankfully, she survived.

The emotional reveal prompted many Malaysians to reflect on how easily one might judge a father out in public with three children, without knowing the full story.
