A famous Nasi Kandar restaurant has just shared the news of a record-breaking purchase by one of its customers.
Nasi Kandar Sulaiman, located in Penang, revealed on social media that a customer has spent a staggering RM69 on a single Nasi Kandar meal, setting a new record for the highest purchase in the restaurant’s history.

All-time biggest record
In a Facebook post, they spilled the beans, disclosing that the customer, who traveled all the way from Johor, had achieved the remarkable feat.
They also mentioned that they hadn’t anticipated anyone setting a new record just before the end of the year.
“RM69. Breaks records. The highest. Didn’t expect someone would set a new record at the last minute before the end of the year. All-time biggest record,” they captioned the post.
The restaurant also posted a proud picture of the customer holding the feast in the comment section, along with a breakdown of the side dishes contributing to the RM69 bill:
- Big squid: RM8.00
- Squid: RM7.50 (3 pieces)
- Shrimp: RM7.50 (4 pieces)
- Lamb: RM7.00
- Rice: RM1.50
