Held at Dewan Bizmillah in Iskandar Puteri, the wedding went viral after a TikTok user, Husna, shared a glimpse of the celebration.
Her husband was invited to witness the special occasion, and the fusion of traditions left everyone impressed.
A Fusion of Malay and Baba Nyonya Cultures
What made this wedding stand out was how beautifully the couple combined Malay and Baba Nyonya elements.
From the start, the event embraced both cultures, with the bride and groom entering the hall to the beats of the kompang.
Adding a touch of Baba Nyonya heritage, the couple’s parents walked in shortly after, dressed in traditional kebaya, perfectly matching the theme of the day.
The Showstopper: A Pink Lion Dance
If that wasn’t enough, a vibrant pink lion stole the show, performing a lively lion dance to the sound of a traditional Bo instrument.
Guests were thrilled, pulling out their phones to record the colourful performance.
Right after, the bride and groom made their grand entrance, waving to guests. The bride looked stunning in her traditional Kebaya Nyonya, exuding elegance and charm, while the groom matched the vibe in a regal Baju Melayu made from songket, complete with a tanjak and a decorative keris.

Before heading to the pelamin (wedding dais), the couple enjoyed the lion dance performance alongside their guests.
