In a TikTok video shared by @cik.singa, the couple was forced to pull over mid-journey because their fur baby, Mat Sumbul, needed to go.
“When you’re on a trip, but your child has a stomachache. Eh, Sumbul, you want to poop or not?” the woman can be heard saying as she patiently waits for her “child” to handle its business.
But instead of quickly doing the deed, Mat Sumbul took his sweet time strolling through the grass, as if carefully scouting the perfect toilet spot.
Meanwhile, his “dad” trailed behind, ready to provide moral support.
A Kitten with Toilet Standards
So, why didn’t they just let Mat Sumbul use a litter box? Turns out, this wasn’t just a spoiled cat moment—he’s actually toilet-trained.
The woman explained that she could tell something was off when Mat Sumbul started meowing non-stop in the car.
“He was meowing like crazy, acting restless. I gave him milk and wet food, but he refused to eat, so I figured he needed to pee or poop,” she shared in the comments.
Even after peeing in his litter box, he continued to whine.
The reason? He wouldn’t properly poop unless he found a safe and acceptable toilet spot.
“He won’t just go anywhere. He’s toilet-trained, so he needs a proper toilet spot before he can actually do his business. If not, he’ll just keep fidgeting and whining,” she added.
A Dedicated ‘Dad’ on Standby
Seeing how much distress their fur baby was in, the couple had no choice but to pull over and let him find his ideal spot.
The husband, now unofficially promoted to ‘Toilet Escort,’ patiently stood by, watching over Mat Sumbul as he made up his mind.
“He didn’t want to poop at home earlier… so annoying,” the woman joked in the caption.
